Job summary

ITW Deltar Fasteners is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the shift, supervise manufacturing employees, and provide technical support to Manufacturing departments/cells. You will ensure a well-executed shift, maintain attendance records, and drive continuous improvement while upholding ITW policies.

You will be responsible for training, performance evaluations, onboarding, and coordinating with cell leaders to maximize uptime and meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and holding team members accountable.
• Willing to hold themselves and others accountable for duties.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Understand mold setup and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff for work assignments based upon priority.
• Lead by creating an engaged and positive environment on the Shift.
• Ensure Shift personnel are executing their job responsibilities.
• Address and document unacceptable behaviors, poor performance, and attendance issues.
• Lead onboarding and training initiatives for new team members.
• Manage attendance records for payroll processing.
• Develop plans for coverage with cell leaders.
• Report absent employees and optimize resources to maximize machine uptime.
• Onboard new team members using work instructions and training.
