Job summary

J&J Snack Foods seeks a Production Supervisor to supervise production personnel across multiple lines, ensuring timely start-ups and adherence to GMP and food safety procedures. The role involves labor crewing, material staging, and maintaining line speeds and product weights per schedule.

You will coordinate with management to address issues, train staff on safety, and prepare efficiency and material reports for shift leadership.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years food manufacturing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and effective Production line start-ups (6 lines).
• Effective labor crewing for all line positions.
• Placement of temporary personnel for attendance issues.
• Obtaining and staging of raw materials for the shift.
• Ensuring GMP, safety and food safety compliance.
• Oversee dough mixing and remix batching to specifications.
• Maintain line speeds and product weights to standards.
• Report payroll time and track downtime.
• Prepare weekly bulk material ordering and delivery schedules.
