J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, drive efficiency, and ensure quality and safety across the plant.

This role focuses on supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and implementing process improvements in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and a working knowledge of GMP, SQF, and FDA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.

Responsabilités

• Supervises daily production activities to meet targets and quality standards.
• Plans and prioritizes production schedules to optimize resources and minimize downtime.
• Leads and mentors the production team to achieve performance goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Manages production goals including waste, labor, throughput, and maintenance of equipment.
• Ensures timely initiation of production lines, efficient changeovers, and monitors labor costs.
• Collaborates with maintenance, quality, and warehousing to ensure smooth production flow.
• Enforces OSHA safety rules and GMP/SQF/FDA compliance.
• Monitors employee performance, provides feedback, and implements corrective actions.
• Drives continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase productivity.
