Job summary

Frey Consulting Group is seeking a dedicated Team Lead to oversee daily production activities in our Harrisburg-area manufacturing facility. You will lead a team of manufacturing associates, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance while serving as the main link between staff and management.

The role focuses on lean improvements, team development, and coordinating with maintenance and QA to resolve production issues and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations and implement effective solutions
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as required by production needs
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations and production schedules
• Lead, train, and develop a team of manufacturing associates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance feedback
• Track production metrics and prepare reports for management review
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate material requirements with appropriate departments
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and other departments to resolve production issues
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing activities
