Job summary

EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, is seeking an EOL Production Supervisor for the Springfield, MO site. This onsite role oversees a dayshift Mon-Fri, leading a production team to meet targets while enforcing safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills, plus proficiency with MS Office and PPE compliance. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with a technical/associates degree and/or a bachelor’s

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, plus 2-year technical/associates degree or certification.
• A bachelor’s degree in science, production management, business management, and/or engineering is preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities to motivate the team.
• Ability to coach others and maintain motivation within the team.
• Ability to analyze causes and effects and anticipate changes in operations.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and training to staff on shift and/or department.
• Oversee equipment, systems, resources, and facilities under supervision.
• Communicate department targets: production, safety, quality, cost, and optimization KPIs.
• Establish and adjust work schedules; manage staffing and resources.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure production status and KPI alignment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environment, and PPE requirements.
