Job summary

Royer Corporation seeks a Production Lead to coordinate daily production on assigned shift in the Madison, IN facility. You will direct and support production employees, monitor safety, quality, and throughput, and drive adherence to procedures and schedules.

Ideal candidates have prior manufacturing or lead experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot issues, mentor staff, and promote a safe, efficient work environment across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or lead experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to follow safety, quality, and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production employees during an assigned shift.
• Assign work and monitor production schedules, priorities, and output to meet daily goals.
• Ensure employees follow safety policies, quality standards, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Monitor equipment, materials, and workflow to identify production issues.
• Troubleshoot production problems and escalate to supervision as needed.
• Train, coach, and support employees on processes and responsibilities.
• Monitor and track production metrics such as output, downtime, scrap and efficiency.
• Communicate shifts updates and concerns to supervisors and management.
• Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized production environment.
• Support staffing and workflow throughout the shift.
