Job summary

DG Foods in Bastrop, Louisiana is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead the FSQA program, ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and customer requirements, and drive continuous improvement.

You will mentor the FSQA team, coordinate audits, review production records, and partner with operations to prevent defects while maintaining paperless documentation via tablets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum two years in food manufacturing or related production.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Experience HACCP and GFSI programs preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead food safety and quality programs including HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs.
• Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and audit GFSI BRC documentation.
• Train and coach FSQA team; promote continuous improvement.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Support audits and corrective actions.
