Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of operators on daily and weekly targets. You will ensure SOP compliance, safety, and quality while guiding continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.

You will train, mentor, and evaluate staff, troubleshoot equipment issues, maintain records, and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• At least five years of applicable experience.
• Strong math, computer, and reading skills.
• Ability to lead projects and project teams.
• 6 months-1 year on production line.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of production operators to meet daily and weekly production targets.
• Ensure SOPs, safety rules, and quality standards are followed.
• Assign work tasks, monitor progress, and provide real-time feedback.
• Train and mentor new employees on equipment operation, processes, and safety practices.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment or process issues and escalate as needed to maintenance or supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, and material usage.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and suggesting process or workflow enhancements.
• Communicate effectively with other departments (maintenance, quality, logistics) to coordinate production activities.
• Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained in the work area.
• Perform production work as needed to meet operational requirements.
