Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a team of operators on our SC production line. You will ensure adherence to SOPs, safety rules, and quality standards while guiding daily and weekly targets.

Mentoring new staff and coordinating with maintenance, quality, and logistics are essential aspects of the role. Qualified candidates have 5+ years on production lines, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

At least five years of applicable experience on production lines.
Strong computer, math, and reading skills.
Ability to lead projects and project teams; multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a team of production operators to meet daily and weekly production targets.
Ensure SOPs, safety rules, and quality standards are followed; monitor progress and provide real-time feedback.
Train and mentor new employees on equipment operation, processes, and safety practices.
Assist with troubleshooting production issues and escalate to maintenance or supervision when needed.
Maintain accurate production data records for downtime and material usage.
Support continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting process or workflow enhancements.
Communicate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to coordinate activities.
Perform production work as needed to meet operational requirements.
