Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) in Aiken, SC, seeks a Manager, Shift Operations for the SWPF. You will lead shift-based nuclear facility operations, supervise multi-discipline teams, and ensure safety, environmental, and procedural compliance with DOE/Nuclear site standards.

The role requires a technical degree with nuclear facility experience or equivalent, strong leadership, and the ability to make critical decisions on duty shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline with experience in engineering/operations/maintenance; or
• Associate degree with relevant engineering/operations/maintenance experience; or
• High School Diploma with relevant experience in engineering/operations/maintenance; or
• Experience working in a nuclear facility or nuclear site

Responsibilities

• Encourage and provide nuclear safety culture education for staff to raise concerns
• Manage shift operations personnel to ensure efficient work per policies
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operating procedures
• Set standards for facility operation and enforce conduct of operations
• Enforce safety, security, QA and personnel policies; review procedural changes
• Develop plans for emergent shift needs due to equipment or condition changes
• Schedule and track surveillance requirements
• Authorize work and plant configuration changes, lockouts when needed
• routinely tour the plant, guide operators, and inspect conditions
• Perform administrative duties including training and performance assessment
