Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) seeks an End Stream Delivery (ESD) Saltstone Shift Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Mechanic First Line Manager (FLM) based in Aiken, SC. The FLM directly supervises mechanics, assuring Work Control, Safety, Quality, and Conduct of Operations are followed, reporting to the shift manager.

The role requires nuclear experience, shift flexibility, and strong leadership to mentor technicians and coordinate asset maintenance within a DOE site

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; additional degrees may be preferred.
• 3+ years Nuclear experience.
• Facility qualification process with on-the-job training within one year.
• Rotating shift schedule position.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and supervises mechanics across maintenance tasks.
• Ensures safety, quality and conduct of operations during maintenance.
• Provides leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to the crew.
• Reviews work packages and lockouts; interfaces with scheduling for work plans.
• Implements procedures and ensures adherence to controls and regulations.
