Job summary

Mennel Milling Company in Mt. Olive seeks a Shift Miller to operate and maintain the flour mill under guidance from the Head Miller. You will support safe, efficient production and uphold product quality.

The role requires troubleshooting skills, dependability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision; prior milling or manufacturing experience is preferred. This is a full-time position with shift rotations and health benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in flour milling, food production, or manufacturing preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and perform duties while wearing a respirator.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the flour mill under the Head Miller's direction to support safe, efficient production and quality.
• Run milling equipment at optimal performance to maximize yields and product quality.
• Maintain wheat and flour inventories to required specs.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, sanitation and food safety standards.
• Complete production reports and follow all SOPs; participate in training and development.
