ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service, through the consistent practice and delivery of Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests and team members.
  • Perform the duties of a Surveillance Agent when needed.
  • Assist in hiring and training, and responsible for motivating, evaluating, and supervising staff on assigned shift to ensure employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.
  • Understand department objectives, standards, guidelines, and budget to achieve effective supervision of department.
  • Establish and maintain training and development procedures to ensure superior customer service standards are achieved.
  • Ensure company and departmental procedures are followed; assist various local, state, and federal authorities in various activities and investigations to ensure that procedures and laws are observed.
  • Participate in any court actions relating to gaming violations in order to represent facts as obtained by department.
  • Maintain daily log and reports to ensure that adequate and accurate information on surveillance activities are kept for future access.
  • Maintain current information on suspicious individuals to ensure the protection of company assets, patrons, and employees.
  • Develop and maintain communications with law enforcement agencies and surveillance personnel.
  • Report all observed violations of gaming regulations and procedures to appropriate authority in order to adhere to company reporting requirements.
  • Ensure that proper procedures for Table Games, Slots, Cashiers, drops, etc. are adhered to.
  • Conduct investigations as required.
  • Provide work direction and supervision to team members.
  • Recommend or oppose the change in status of team members including but not limited to changes from full time to part time, promotions, and transfers.
  • Provide for the safety of team members, including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter and performing all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Develop, maintain and manage training programs.
  • Understand and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies and procedures.
  • Make determinations regarding types of materials, supplies, or tools to be used.
  • Supervise and manage attendance and time records of team members.
  • Protect and preserve assets of the company.
  • Meet grooming and appearance requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years progressively more challenging leadership role in surveillance, security, or law enforcement preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to observe and recognize cheating techniques.
  • Ability to operate computer and surveillance equipment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electronic, video, and alarm functions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of casino games.
  • Knowledge and understanding of statistical and daily game reports preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area.

Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
