Responsibilities

Managers lead shifts each week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Shift Managers provide leadership to crews and other managers during a shift to ensure excellent quality, service, and cleanliness for customers.

Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning each shift, monitoring performance, taking action to meet McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them to run a great shift. Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting shift targets and helping their assigned departments achieve their goals.
