Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Evansville, IN is seeking a Food & Beverage Shift Manager to lead the outlet team during their shift, ensuring quality service, safety, and adherence to standards.

You will supervise bartenders and servers, manage inventory and scheduling, coordinate meetings, and drive guest satisfaction while maintaining cleanliness and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred with experience in Food & Beverage supervision.
• Ability to supervise team members and manage guest interactions.
• Demonstrated commitment to service standards and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift Food and Beverage team members and scheduling.
• Monitor inventory, plan and coordinate outlet operations.
• Maintain restaurant/bar image, cleanliness, and appearance standards.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff with the manager's guidance.
• Lead on-shift meetings and direct team tasks.
• Ensure all side work and equipment cleaning are completed.
• Provide excellent guest service and resolve complaints promptly.
• Control costs related to food, beverage, utilities, and labor.
• Comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Secure premises at end of shift and maintain safe working conditions.
• Investigate and resolve food quality/service issues.
• Available for varied hours, holidays, and weekends.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manages all Food and Beverage shift Team Members.
• Monitors inventory levels and scheduling of Team Members.
• Planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling of operational outlet functions during their shift.
• Maintain professional restaurant/ bar image, including restaurant/bar cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards during their shift.
• Hires, trains, and supervises bar and restaurant/bar Team Members in conjunction with the Assistant Manager/Manager.
• Organize and conduct on-shift and departmental meetings, and schedule and direct the Team Members in their work assignments.
• Assures that all side work is accomplished, and all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule.
• Ensures thoughtful guest service in all areas. Responds to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to resolve the guest's issue.
• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, utility, and labor costs.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Assures that the restaurant/bar and other areas are secure at the end of shift.
• Ensure a safe working environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents. Completes accident reports promptly in the event that a guest or Team Member is injured.
• Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
• Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
• Enforces and is knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming and ATC (state) regulations, and the company's internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Will assist in management of other food outlets in F&B Manager's absence if needed.
• Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
• Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.

Work Environment

The Casino industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation. This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates.

Target Salary Range

$40,750 - $49,250
