RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead store operations and champion guest service. You will direct a fast-paced team on shift, coach associates in real-time, and ensure food safety, cleanliness, and_inventory standards are met.

A proactive leader who drives results will find opportunities for growth in a dynamic retail environment. Qualifications include 2–3 years in retail/food service, 1+ year of leadership, ability to lift 50 lbs., and a diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.
• Must Haves for this Role: High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
