Job summary

RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, ensure guest satisfaction, and drive daily operations. You’ll coach team members, manage food service tasks, and handle cash processes with a cheerful, can-do attitude.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years retail or food service experience with 1+ year in leadership, strong communication, and the stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. RaceTrac offers competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift – set a cheerful, can-do tone, coach team members, assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Drive Operational Excellence – ensure guest service, food safety, cleanliness, inventory, and promotional communication.
• Model Communication & Accountability – relay updates and provide feedback to drive results.
• Support a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork during peak times.
