Job summary

GALLOWAY TAVERN INC is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations during a shift. You will create staff schedules, supervise team members, and assign duties to ensure smooth service.

The ideal candidate has restaurant experience and strong leadership abilities. Responsibilities include training staff, delivering excellent customer service, handling complaints gracefully, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Familiar with MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead.

Responsibilities

• Train and manage employees and assign duties as needed
• Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
• Resolve customer complaints gracefully and with tact
• Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations
• Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management
• Maintain inventory levels, reorder and restock when necessary
• Cover the shifts of absent employees
