Job summary

Taco Bell in Glendale, CA is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily shifts with energy and passion, driving high standards across the restaurant. You will coach team members, ensure food safety, resolve customer concerns, and partner with the GM on business initiatives to shape the future of the restaurant.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of restaurant/retail experience with at least 3 months in a lead role, strong communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to equity, inclusion, and guest

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience; 3 months of shift lead experience preferred
• Adheres to cash handling, security, inventory, and labor policies
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable with transportation
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Physical dexterity to move up to 45 lbs
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Comfortable speaking, reading, and writing in English

Responsibilities

• Execute the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine to prioritize guest needs
• Oversee Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean appearances
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders
• Resolve customer complaints promptly while maintaining relationships
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on team performance
• Train team members and assist with recruitment
• Support Profit & Loss management via cash control and inventory
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, and holding times
• Assist the GM with facility maintenance and safety standards
