Firehouse Subs in Abilene, Texas is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, driving sales and profitability while delivering Heartfelt Guest Service. You will coach and develop crew, coordinate night shift teams, ensure food safety, and uphold sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced fast-food environment.
• Excellent menu and product knowledge.
• Accountable for the preparation of the guest’s order, including cashier responsibilities
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and handle questions and concerns in a professional manner.
• Team player.
• Thank guests sincerely for their business, strong customer service.
• Participates in all Firehouse Subs� Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
• Maintains an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
• Lead and coordinate night shift teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Train employees on food handling, sanitation, equipment use, and safety protocols.
• Provide coaching and feedback
• Maintains a safe work environment, adhering to all established food service and safety guidelines.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate night shift teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Train employees on food handling, sanitation, equipment use, and safety protocols.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace.
• Support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in daily operations.
