Job summary

Hi-Pointe Drive-In is seeking a Shift Manager to supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams in a fast-casual setting in St. Louis. You will lead day-to-day shifts while developing staff, ensuring flawless execution of company recipes and food standards, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires at least 2 years of restaurant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Hepatitis A vaccination record. You will champion safety and teamwork across BOH and FOH teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Hepatitis A vaccination record.

Responsibilities

• Assist Kitchen Manager and General Manager in training and developing the team.
• Execute flawless, independent shift operations.
• Engage with guests to deliver a standout experience.
• Manage BOH and FOH labor costs and adjust staffing as needed.
• Maintain food cost standards through inventory, ordering and portion control.
• Adhere to local and state food safety requirements and prioritize safety.
• Streamline kitchen processes to ensure fast casual service times.
• Foster a positive culture and develop team members.
• Ensure equipment safety and routine maintenance checks.
• Maintain checklists for efficient kitchen operations.
• Test products regularly to ensure quality and recipe execution.
• Communicate policy changes to BOH and FOH staff.
• Train and develop team members.
• Ensure all staff meet restaurant safety and food handling standards.
• Adhere to company standards including personal hygiene and appearance.
• Serve as an ambassador of Hi-Pointe Drive-In and take pride in our brand.
• Any other tasks as assigned by management.
