Job summary

Five Guys in the United States is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, support crew, and step in when the General Manager is absent. You will drive adherence to quality, safety, and service standards while maintaining a productive, high-energy work environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, with a proven ability to lead a team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Energetic, honest, and motivational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily restaurant operations in the General Manager’s absence.
• Ensure compliance with company standards in product prep and delivery.
• Manage customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team and inventory management.
• Support training and development of team members during shifts.

The pay for this position is $20/hour +Tips +Bonus

Shift managers are trained to perform all of the duties preformed by the Crew Members and Shift Leaders, with additional responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager’s absence: ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including product prep and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team and inventory management, and other duties as required or assigned.
