Job summary

Five Guys in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Shift Manager to help lead daily restaurant operations and guest experiences. You will train and guide Crew Members and Shift Leaders, ensuring standards in product prep, delivery, customer relations, and facility maintenance during the General Manager’s absence.

Expect a fast-paced environment with 11:00 am–10:00 pm operating hours, a competitive base pay of $20/hour plus tips and a bonus plan, and opportunities for internal advancement across North

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and maintain service standards.
• Strong customer service orientation and appearance of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing daily restaurant operations in absence of the General Manager.
• Oversee product prep, delivery, and quality control to meet company standards.
• Manage team tasks, inventory, and customer relations during shifts.
• Support in staff training and maintaining a clean, safe dining environment.

The pay for this position is $20/hour +Tips +Bonus

Shift managers are trained to perform all of the duties preformed by the Crew Members and Shift Leaders, with additional responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager’s absence: ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including product prep and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team and inventory management, and other duties as required or assigned.
