Job summary

Steak ’n Shake Woodhaven is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy and accountability. You will coach a team to deliver fast, friendly service and uphold cleanliness and brand standards. The role emphasizes leadership, reliability, and mentorship in a high-volume setting.

We offer competitive hourly pay up to $19 plus unique bonus pay options and benefits designed for long-term growth. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with US work authorization.

What You Will Do

• Lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability
• Ensure strong openings and closings by setting up the team for success
• Set the tone for the shift—motivate and coach team members for success
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service that exceeds guest expectations
• Ensure all brand standards are met - cleanliness, food safety, and quality
• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members
• Support training and onboarding of new team members
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly
