Job summary

Steak ’n Shake Chippewa St. Louis is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability. You will open and close, coach team members, and deliver fast, friendly service that exceeds guest expectations while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications include reliability, servant leadership, and strong communication; high school diploma or equivalent and US work authorization are preferred. The role is on-site in St.

• Ensure all brand standards are met - cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities.
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect.
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
