Steak ’n Shake Downers Grove is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability. You’ll set up the team for successful openings and closings, and mentor staff to deliver fast, friendly service.

We offer market-leading wages up to $22.25 per hour plus benefits including health plans, 401(k) with match, paid training, next-day pay, and meal discounts. US work authorization and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

• Prior supervisory/restaurant management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect.
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
