Job summary

Subway in Willoughby Hills, OH is seeking a Shift Manager to lead six core areas: guest experience, food preparation, restaurant upkeep, inventory control, staff scheduling, and teamwork. This role builds on the Sandwich Artist® base, with ongoing training and daily supervision of team members.

You’ll ensure equipment works, manage paperwork, and support operations across day/evening/weekend shifts. A high school diploma and at least 1 year in a restaurant are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
