Job summary

Subway Team Manager role open in the local area. You will lead shift operations, ensure guest satisfaction, supervise staff, and maintain cleanliness and stock levels while upholding brand standards.

The position involves training Sandwich Artists™, scheduling, inventory control, and operating the cash register. This is a full-/part-time shift with varying hours by location, with compensation to be discussed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent guest experience and ensure great food is prepared and served.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and functionality throughout the shift.
• Control inventory and manage supplies efficiently.
• Schedule and supervise staff; cascade training to Sandwich Artists™.
• Operate Point of Sale and complete necessary paperwork.

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
