Job summary

Bar Louie is seeking aShift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations on-site, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth service. You will guide team members to maintain high food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards, especially when management is off-duty.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in casual dining, a HS diploma or GED, and strong leadership. Evening/weekend availability is required; benefits and advancement opportunities offered.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As a Shift Leader, you’ll oversee restaurant operations when the General Manager or Assistant Manager is not on duty. You’ll guide and support team members to maintain high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety. You’ll also handle guest concerns, supplier issues, and team needs, escalating matters to management when necessary.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Servsafe License preferred, or able to obtain a State-approved license – must be maintained per State Mandates.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership, developing goals and action plans for personal/professional growth.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow uniform standards.
• Remain calm in a fast-paced atmosphere and demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
• Display a positive and outwardly friendly attitude towards all guests – Live the McAlister’s Touch.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
