Job summary

Campero USA Corp. in Lawrence, NY seeks a Shift Manager to lead the crew, plan shift duties, ensure adherence to procedures, and resolve issues for an outstanding Customer Experience.

You will coach staff, support the General Manager, participate in training, and maintain high standards for sanitation, safety and teamwork while assisting with staffing and inventory controls. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in similar roles or with customer experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership potential by actively supporting team dynamics.
• Committed to guest satisfaction, upholding a guest-first mindset in all interactions.
• Preferred: Food Handlers Card/ ServSafe Certification
• Fluent in English & Spanish

Overview

The Shift Manger plays an important role in training, developing and leading the crew. Serves as a critical part of the leadership team, helping the restaurant serve the most flavorful chicken and coordinates a smooth end to end operation to provide an exceptional Customer Experience.

Responsibilities

• • Plan his/her duties and responsibilities for each shift
  • Verifies compliance of procedures and protocols
  • Attends and resolves problems as they appear in the restaurant operation
  • Assist the General Manager
  • Coach and lead a team with no supervision
  • Involves himself in the operational and technical training of employees
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere of teamwork and full of energy
  • Verifies customer satisfaction/Handles customer complaints
  • Applies a continuous improvement mindset to processes and procedures
  • Open/close restaurant
  • Assist with inventory (logging)
  • Assist with staffing needs
  • Assist with controllables and labor
  • Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
  • Follows and abides by all safety rules, policies, and procedures
