Qualifications

• 2+ years in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)

• Strong communication and time management skills; experience with digital POS and shift reporting

Responsibilities

• Supervise store operations on opening, mid, or closing shifts and ensure cleanliness and prep targets are met
• Lead the team on the line during peak hours, coaching staff on speed of service and upselling

Pay Rate: Up to $21.00+/hour (including competitive base pay, performance bonuses, and tip opportunities)

What You’ll Focus On:

As a Shift Manager, you will serve as the operational anchor during your shifts, focusing on four core pillars:

1. Leading & Motivating the Team: Directing Sandwich Artists®, maintaining high energy, and ensuring smooth, efficient shift execution.

2. Driving Speed of Service & Guest Satisfaction: Championing excellent customer service, resolving guest feedback promptly, and maximizing throughput during peak hours.

3. Upholding Brand & Safety Standards: Enforcing strict food safety, sanitation, cash handling, and labor efficiency guidelines.

4. Managing Inventory & Cash Controls: Conducting daily inventory counts, managing shift registers, and ensuring food waste targets are met.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Supervise store operations during opening, mid, or closing shifts, ensuring food prep and restaurant cleanliness targets are completed on schedule.

• Lead by example on the line during peak rush periods, guiding staff on speed of service, proper portioning, and active upselling.

• Oversee cash management, register drawer counts, safe drops, and Point of Sale (POS) shift reconciliation.

• Monitor product quality and inventory usage to control food costs and minimize waste.

• Coach and train new Team Members on brand procedures, safety protocols, and guest engagement standards.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience required, including at least 1 year in a leadership/supervisory role (Shift Leader, Crew Lead, or Assistant Manager).

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

• Certifications: ServSafe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

• Skills: Strong communication, time management, problem-solving skills, and comfort operating digital POS systems and managing basic shift reporting.

• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move comfortably throughout the entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
