Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Shift Lead to drive the team, coach staff, and uphold Taco Bell's standards. You will resolve guest concerns and lead shifts in a fast-paced environment, aligning with management on business initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute MIC Success Routine to keep customers satisfied.
• Oversee Shift Excellence tasks and maintain neat appearance.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain positive relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on team performance.
• Coach and train Team Members and actively participate in training.
• Assist the GM in screening candidates.
• Support Profit & Loss management through cash control and inventory.
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, and holding times.
• Assist with facility maintenance and health and safety standards.

Partnering with the management team, you'll play a key role in business initiatives, helping to shape the future of our restaurant. The Day-to-Day:

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by executing the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' completion of Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly, maintaining positive customer relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members.
• Actively participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with the GM to achieve resolution.
• Assist the GM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times.
• Assist the GM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are always followed.

Is this you?

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred
• Adheres to cash, security, inventory, and labor policies
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Accessibility to dependable and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity required (the ability to move up to 45 lbs. from one area to another).
• Attendance and Punctuality a must
• Operating of cash register as needed and making change for other cashiers.
• Basic Math skills
• Maintains customer satisfaction and adheres to health and safety standards
