Job summary

Subway is hiring a Shift Manager in Thornton, CO. The role focuses on delivering an excellent guest experience, ensuring food quality and service, and maintaining a clean, functional restaurant environment.

You will cascade training to Sandwich Artists, schedule and supervise staff, and manage inventory while ensuring equipment is in proper working order. Training will be provided for roles and responsibilities, with varying shift options by location.

Qualifications

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
