Job summary

Subway is seeking a Shift Manager in Piketon, OH to lead daily operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain food quality. You will train Sandwich Artists, supervise staff, and safeguard inventory and equipment.

Key responsibilities include scheduling, delegating tasks, and ensuring order accuracy and cleanliness. This on-site role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced restaurant and opportunities for growth within the Subway brand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
