Job summary

Steak ’n Shake SR 135 Greenwood in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability. The role focuses on opening/closing, coaching the team, delivering fast, friendly service, and upholding brand standards.

You’ll manage deposits and end-of-day reports, while supporting training and a positive, team-oriented environment. Benefits include competitive pay up to $21.50 per hour and medical/dental plans among others.

• Ensure strong openings and closings by setting up the team for success
• Set the tone for the shift—motivate and coach team members for success
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service that exceeds guest expectations
• Ensure all brand standards are met - cleanliness, food safety, and quality
• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members
• Support training and onboarding of new team members
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly
