Job description

This position is a Department Manager role at a Mc’Donald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, separate from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the employer responsible for all employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts weekly, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly service.
• Manage assigned systems (e.g., Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management), set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results.
• Guest Service Department Manager: oversee crew and managers to deliver great customer experience, execute sales promotions, train service staff, and organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas.
• Kitchen Department Manager: ensure quality food delivery, maintain food safety, control food cost, and train kitchen staff on production procedures and new menu items.
• People Department Manager: hire qualified crew, train them, and schedule to meet sales and profit goals; motivate and recognize crew throughout their tenure.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail, or hospitality.
• Positive team player with flexible schedule and a passion for fast‑paced environments.
• Minimum age 18 years for manager positions.
