Job summary

McDonald’s franchise restaurant is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead shifts, manage departments, and train crew for excellent guest service. You will supervise Training, Food Safety, and Inventory, set performance goals, and report results to ensure smooth operations and superb customer experiences.

Ideal candidates have prior managerial experience, a flexible schedule, and a passion for fast-paced work. Must be 18+ to supervise staff, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

However, this franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. If you are hired for this job, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Managers may also lead specific departments, overseeing systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results.
• Guest Service Department Managers ensure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, oversee sales promotions, train staff in service procedures, and keep the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas organized for optimal service.
• Kitchen Department Managers ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality, fast food; maintain food safety; control food costs; and train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
• People Department Managers hire qualified crew, provide training, and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals. They also ensure crew members start well and receive motivation and recognition throughout their employment.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedule and a passion for fast‑paced work.
• Must be 18 years or older to serve as a manager at a corporate‑owned restaurant.
