Location & Compensation:
Airport Location: Los Angeles Airport F&B
Advertised Compensation: $27.00 per hour
Purpose:
The Manager I (MGRI) assists branch management in executing QSR or similar restaurant operations, ensuring cleanliness, staffing, and high operational standards using prescribed policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Completes opening, daily, and closing procedures/checklists according to company policies
- Assists the AGM/GM in supervising daily activities of associates within designated restaurants or points-of-sale
- Participates in hiring processes, provides input on employment decisions to the GM
- Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shift coverage
- Ensures associates take mandated rest and meal breaks
- Maintains display areas to be clean, stocked, and visually appealing
- Ensures equipment is in good working order
- Operates cash registers, processes transactions following cash handling policies, and maintains cash security
- Monitors compliance with safety procedures, reports safety concerns
- Performs health and safety activities as per the Manager’s Guide
- Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices
- Maintains current contact information for all restaurant associates
Requirements:
- Ability to work varied shifts, including opening, busy periods, and closing
- Knowledge of sanitary, safety, and health standards, including HACCP protocols
Reporting & Work Schedule:
The MGRI reports to the General Manager, Director of Operations, or a Multi-Unit Manager. The position requires a rotating schedule to cover various shifts, including opening and closing times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience
- At least 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or kitchen
- Ability to read, comprehend instructions, and communicate effectively with customers
