Responsibilities

1. Supervises nursing staff assigned to a particular shift. Assigns patients to available nursing staff considering the patient's condition and the employee's skill level.
2. Assesses, monitors, and educates the nursing staff on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
3. Anticipates staffing needs and responds proactively.
4. Oversees stocking of supplies and updates patient records to ensure readiness for subsequent shifts.

Qualifications

Education And Experience

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (e.g., ADN).
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.

Licensure

• Registered Nursing License (RN) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS); other credentials may be required.
