Subway is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily operations and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will coach Sandwich Artists, supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure clean and well-maintained facilities while delivering a top-tier guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent guest experience and ensure food is prepared and served to standard.
• Keep restaurant clean, functional, and attractive.
• Control inventory and assist with scheduling and supervising staff.
• Work as a team and participate in training Sandwich Artists.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:

• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Being a team player

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
