Job summary

Subway is hiring a Shift Manager in Glenpool, OK. You will lead daily operations, ensure quality food preparation and service, and maintain a clean, safe restaurant environment. You’ll also manage inventory and scheduling, while training team members and handling administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent guest experience.
• Ensure food is prepared and served to standard.
• Keep the restaurant clean, functional, and visually appealing.
• Control inventory and manage supplies.
• Schedule and supervise staff.
• Be a team player and support other shifts.
• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists on existing and new responsibilities.
• Complete paperwork as needed.
• Operate POS system efficiently during shifts.

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities


• Scheduling and supervising staff


• Practicing inventory control standards


• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift


• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
