Job summary

Subway is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will focus on delivering an excellent guest experience, ensuring food quality and service, maintaining clean and functional surroundings, managing inventory, and supervising staff with a strong team-player attitude.

You will also cascade training to Sandwich Artists on new responsibilities, schedule team members, enforce inventory standards, ensure equipment operates correctly, and handle

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
