Qualifications

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Shift Managers provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness for customers. They plan for each shift, monitor performance, take action to meet standards, monitor safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for a great shift. Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and helping assigned departments meet their goals.

Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players with a flexible schedule, ready to thrive in McDonald’s fast‑paced environment. Applicants must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate‑owned and operated restaurant.
