Job Description

Responsible for supporting the General Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing the profitability of one RaceTrac store during designated shifts. While leading the shift, you will deliver on RaceTrac’s mission of making lives simpler and more enjoyable through friendly service, food execution, cleanliness, talent leadership, and driving success.

Responsibilities
  1. Friendly:
    • Provide courteous, frictionless, and elevated experiences for guests.
    • Foster positive and professional relationships with co-workers and guests.
    • Communicate respectfully and maintain a team-oriented attitude.
    • Complete guest transactions efficiently and suggest complementary products.
    • Address guest concerns promptly, involving regional team members as needed.
  2. Food:
    • Adhere to all safety regulations, including food safety standards.
    • Ensure all food offerings are available.
  3. Clean:
    • Maintain a clean and fully stocked store to enhance guest experience.
    • Execute shift duties, uphold presentation standards, and represent the RaceTrac brand.
    • Clean food prep areas and equipment to standards.
  4. Leading Talent:
    • Demonstrate RaceTrac's Core Values: Honesty, Efficiency, Positive Attitude, Respect, and Teamwork.
    • Act with a servant-leader mentality, prioritize tasks, go the extra mile, listen, and communicate respectfully.
    • Lead coaching, training, and assessment of team members.
    • Provide performance feedback to the General Manager.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
  • 2-3 years’ work experience preferred.
  • 1+ years management experience preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Initiative-taking ability.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, reach as needed.
  • May require food handler and alcohol server permits, depending on local laws.
