Aerotek in West Allis, WI is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for 2nd and 3rd shifts to ensure smooth operation of production lines, packaging equipment, and utility systems in a fast-growing food manufacturing environment.

You will perform preventive and emergency maintenance, read electrical schematics, troubleshoot PLC I/O, and maintain safety compliance with HACCP and GMP. This contract-to-hire role offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical knowledge to repair and troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to follow safety protocols (LOTO, GMP) and food safety standards.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utilities.
• Respond to emergency repairs and breakdowns promptly.
• Interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, and work orders.
• Close work orders with high quality and communicate issues affecting production.
• Report unsafe conditions and ensure HACCP and GMP compliance.
• Pull wires, terminate circuits, and troubleshoot PLC I/O (not programming).
