Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits in Florida seeks a Shift Leader Trainee to grow into a Shift Leader within about 90 days. You will learn store operations, guest service, and merchandise presentation while supporting the Store Manager.

You will greet guests, process transactions, coach teammates, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. This role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays and offers tuition reimbursement, strong health benefits, and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of proven management or leadership experience; or 2 years of college in Business Management or related field.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty in training, open and close the store, and assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing store operations.
• Greet each Guest upon entry and provide prompt, friendly, and engaging service throughout their visit.
• Operate a Point-of-Sale terminal to process Guest transactions, including accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
• Train, coach, and direct other sales associates when acting as Manager on Duty in training to promote exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the store and stockroom.
• Assist with daily property upkeep and merchandise displays; unload weekly truck deliveries.
• Provide product wrapping, assemble custom gift baskets, and offer carryout service when needed.
• Perform other tasks/projects as assigned by store management.
