Job summary

Goodwill NCW is seeking a Full Time Stevens Point store leader to oversee daily team operations and provide guidance, coaching, and training. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while supporting a broad range of tasks including opening and closing the store and engaging with customers.

Ideal candidates have at least a year of retail leadership experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year(s) of retail leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work through multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints.
• Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• At least a basic level of competency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
• Experience with common reporting and dashboard tools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with regular and timely attendance in accordance with the assigned work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight, guidance, and support to team members as directed by the Store Manager.
• Leads team members by assisting with training, coaching and developing skills.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Demonstrates strong proficiency while remaining adaptable in a dynamic environment, supporting a wide range of tasks including opening and closing the store.
• Maintains a consistent presence throughout store while engaging with team members and customers.
• Communicates with store leadership team and team members in a way that promotes an effective and consistent flow of information throughout the store.
• Other duties as assigned.
