Blue Origin in Kent, WA is seeking a Supervisor to lead technicians in precision cleaning, chemical processing, and inspection of propulsion hardware for spaceflight systems. You will guide the team through manufacturing steps, support design feedback, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across programs like New Shepard and New Glenn.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leading teams on fluid systems with AMS2700/IEST-STD-CC1246.
• 1+ years supervising production in manufacturing supply chain.
• 4+ years manufacturing/maintenance of chemical, fluid, and rocket components.
• Certification/knowledge of precision cleaning, chemical processing (degreasing, passivation per AMS2700, etch), and hardware inspection (IEST-STD-CC1246).
• Knowledge of drawings/work orders and issue-tracking systems.
• Strong organization and people skills in a multi-priority environment.
• Ability to supervise multiple shifts; Shift B schedule: Mon-Thurs 3p-1:30a.

Responsibilities

• Supervising personnel: recruiting, quarterly performance reviews, coaching, scheduling, and overtime.
• Promoting teamwork and morale.
• Reviewing design concepts with engineers; providing processing feedback; supporting tests; contributing to process development.
• Managing resource projections and personnel assignments to meet schedules.
• Providing status updates on hardware deliveries at daily schedule meetings.
• Developing training; ensuring training records are accurate.
• Ensuring products meet quality standards per released engineering.
• Maintaining stock of consumables.
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated.
• Ensuring 5S and FOD controls are in place.
