Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick is hiring a Shift Leader to oversee restaurant operations during the shift, manage staff, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The role focuses on maintaining food quality, enforcing brand standards, and supporting management.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of restaurant customer-facing experience and a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role. 18+ years old, English fluency, and food handler certification are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing restaurant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to fluently speak and understand English.
• Must have or be willing to obtain required food handler’s certification for respective state/local area.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work ~40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, and manage restaurant staff during the shift.
• Train new employees in procedures, guest experience, and company standards.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.
• Lead shifts by assigning tasks, managing breaks, and ensuring smooth hand-offs between shifts.
• Maintain a guest-first attitude and uphold brand standards.
• Assist with onboarding, cross-training, and teamwork across positions.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy and shift reporting.
