Job summary

BURGER KING is seeking an Hourly Shift Coordinator in Marion, IA. This role supports the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager, leading a shift of team members to deliver sales, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

You will ensure proper shift execution, supervise food prep and service, and coach staff to meet brand standards while maintaining cash controls and inventory accuracy. This position requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; 2 years college preferred.
• 1–2 years of quick service restaurant experience.
• 18+ years of age and availability evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability, guests, people and operations during assigned shifts.
• Direct shift plans and drive operational results.
• Motivate team members for accurate, fast, and friendly service.
• Direct preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery.
• Review restaurant results to identify improvements and successes.
• Uphold operational and brand standards.
